Possible Solutions for Using the 10-10EZ Online Submission Form

You need to change a setting on your Internet browser.

The Online version of the VHA Form 10-10EZ requires that your Internet browser have cookies enabled in order to transfer information from one page of the form to another. Sometimes cookies can be used to remember information that you have provided. This program does not use a cookie to store any personal information about you on your computer. It is more like a bookmark for the server.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0

In order to continue using this program, please go to the top line of your Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and click Tools > Internet Options. Then click the Privacy tab. You may have varying levels of security that determines how cookies are handled. Click the Advanced button. If you have checked the box to override automatic cookie handling, you must ensure that you do check the box that says "always allow session cookies".

For other browser types check in the help part of the browser for assistance on enabling sessions cookies.

The Online version of the VHA Form 10-10EZ also requires that your browser have scripting enabled. This is sometimes called JavaScript. If the button on the home page that says "Go to the Online Submission Form" does not work, then it means that you probably have scripting turned of or disabled.

To change the Internet Options in Microsoft Internet Explorer,

  • Select the "Tools" link on the top of your browser, then pick "Internet Options".
  • Pick the Security Tab and then "Internet" in the Web Content Zone. Near the bottom click the button called "Custom Level... ".
  • Scroll down almost to the bottom where you will find a button called "Active Scripting". If it is disabled, change it to "enabled", and the 10-10EZ application should work properly.
  • If it is already "Enabled", you may have other software on your computer which is blocking the scripting. Sometimes Internet Service Providers or companies have firewalls or other kinds of software that block scripting. If that is the case, you may have to find another computer or another way to submit your 10-10EZ.

(After you have submitted your 10-10EZ you may go back and reset the scripting settings.)

Change your browser and then you may return to the Form
