1999 Metropolitan Area Occupational Employment and Wage Estimates
Each area name is a link to its occupational employment and wage estimates.
Metropolitan areas are listed below in alphabetical order by State. In the case of cross-State metropolitan areas, metropolitan areas with boundaries that cross State borders, the metropolitan area name appears under every State which contains part of that metropolitan area and all the State names appear in parentheses to the right of the metropolitan area. For official definitions and related information about metropolitan areas, see the Census Bureau web site at http://www.census.gov/population/www/estimates/metroarea.html.
Balance of State areas are comprised of all the parts of a State not included in any metropolitan area. Estimates for Balance of State areas have been removed from the BLS website, as they are undergoing review for compliance with BLS publication standards.
