Grants & Partnerships

The Alaska National Wildlife Refuge System invites the submission of new proposals in support of Alaska natural resource management projects and science camps, both as components of the 2009 Challenge Cost Share (CCS) program. A few proposals will also be accepted for the winter (October through February) of Fiscal Year 2010. Project proposals must demonstrate a strong relationship between a non-federal group and a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service office in Alaska. This is the initial announcement for this funding opportunity. The CCS program is an annual funding source set up on the federal fiscal year schedule; therefore, the objectives and work identified in the proposals selected for award under this announcement must be completed no later than September 30, 2009. Proposals must be delivered to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Office at 1011 East Tudor Road, Anchorage, AK by 4:00 PM on December 12, 2008. Proposals may be mailed to the address below and must display a postmark earlier than December 12, 2008. For more information about this call for proposals, please contact:
