The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will be closed on Tuesday, 26 May 2009 because of a temporary layoff. Our offices will reopen for normal business on Wednesday, 27 May 2009.

| national, state and local officials, as well as New Jersey National Guard military leadership and civic and veterans groups. The Battalion is performing its pre-mobilization training at Fort Sill, Okla., and then will deploy to Iraq. The unit headquarters is in West Trenton and its Soldiers hail from all of New Jersey's 21 counties. |
