All Rhode Islanders owe a debt of gratitude to our veterans who have, throughout the years and through many different wars and conflicts, protected and defended the freedoms that we all hold so dear.  Our veterans are the true heroes of our time. Sailor photo
  
The Rhode Island Division of Veteran's Affairs exists to assist Rhode Island veterans and their survivors and/or dependents by providing a wide range of social, medical, rehabilitative and burial services.

The Division operates the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery located in Exeter, the Rhode Island Veterans Home located in Bristol, Rhode Island Veterans Affairs Office.

The division serves more than 99,800 Rhode Island veterans
and their dependents of which an estimated 76,900 have served
their country during a wartime period.
  
The Virtual Wall is a digital interactive legacy memorializing
the men and women who gave their lives in Vietnam.
