Originating in 1868, the modern format includes international, multimodal statistics on a wide variety of transportation matters.  Online versions are available through OCLC and Academic Universe, for subscribers.

World Motor Vehicle Data. Detroit, Michigan: Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association of the United States. Annual.

Listings by continent, region and by nation; includes statistics on vehicle production, exports, imports, registrations and sales. Time covered varies by topic; some statistics go back to late 1940s. Ceased publication in 1998.
