3. Problems of Rational Nature Management under the Conditions of a Stable Development of the Northern Pacific Areas
- Conditions of mineral wealth and its rational management - Conditions of the hydrosphere and its rational management - Conditions of power resources and their rational management
4. Problems of the Human Environment
- Medical-biological and demographic problems of people in sub-polar areas
- Social-psychological aspects of development of the northern Asiatic-Pacific areas and the adaptation process of people under the northern conditions
5. Ecology: Philosophy, Education and Culture
- Theoretical problems of ecology
- Ecological education
- Ecological culture
The meeting will include oral and poster presentations and round table discussions of the above themes. The registration fee is $100 US. Abstracts are due November 1, 1999.
