SUBJECT: Presentation Skills for Ethics Trainers


The Office of Government Ethics (OGE) will present a class entitled "Presentation Skills for Ethics Trainers" on June 20-21, 1995. This two-day course is designed for ethics practitioners who will deliver ethics training. It prepares trainers in the skills necessary to design, develop, and deliver ethics training. Students should come prepared with ethics information to incorporate into the lessons they will present.

This class will be taught by OGE's Instructional Systems Specialist, Jo Lee Hazelwood. She has a Masters of Teaching Degree with emphasis on adult learning, two years of ethics experience, and more than eight years' experience with Government training.

This no-fee class will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. both days at:

PLACE: Merit Systems Protection Board 9th Floor Hearing Room 1120 Vermont Avenue, NW. Washington, DC 20434 (McPherson Square Metro Stop) 202-653-6772 (Emergency Number) WHO: Students should be ethics practitioners familiar with the standards of conduct and conflict of interest statutes.

FORMAT: Students will make two short presentations and one 8-10 minute presentation based on ethics materials. Presentations will be video taped and students will receive feedback from other students. Class size is limited to 16 participants.
