January 10, 1994 DO-94-001 MEMORANDUM TO: Designated Agency Ethics Officials, General Counsels, Inspectors General, and Agency and Department Printing Officers FROM: Stephen D. Potts Director SUBJECT: Publication of Supplement to The Informal Advisory Letters and Memoranda and Formal Opinions of the United States Office of Government Ethics The Office of Government Ethics (OGE) has provided the Government Printing Office (GPO) with the 1991/1992 supplement to The Informal Advisory Letters and Memoranda and Formal Opinions of the United States Office of Government Ethics. These new materials include letters and memoranda ("guidance") issued by OGE in 1991 and 1992, a new index covering guidance issued from 1990 through 1992, and a corrected version of the old index covering OGE guidance issued from 1979 through 1989. If you wish to ride OGE's order, an SF-1, Printing and Binding Requisition Form, should be sent to GPO no later than February 25, 1994. Please include with your order the GPO jacket number, 363- 613, and the full title -- 1991/1992 Supplement to the Informal Advisory Letters and Memoranda and Formal Opinions of the United States Office of Government Ethics. GPO's address and fax number are: United States Government Printing Office Room C830 North Capitol and H Streets, NW. Washington, DC 20401 Fax Number: (202) 512-1260 The new materials are to be placed in the existing three-ring, loose-leaf binder which contains guidance issued by OGE in 1989 and 1990. The new indexes will replace those currently in the binder. Appropriate tabs and an instruction sheet will be included in the package of new materials to assist with placement of the new materials in the binder. Once these materials have been placed in the binder, the instruction sheet may be discarded. If you do not order the new supplement by February 25, 1994, you will not be precluded from purchasing it. We anticipate that the supplement will be available for purchase -- albeit at a higher price -- from the GPO bookstore and through the Superintendent of Documents. If you have any questions, please contact Elaine Newton at (202) 523-5757, ext. 1137.
