FROM: Barbara A. Mullen-Roth Associate Director for Education

SUBJECT: Presentation Skills for Ethics Trainers

The Office of Government Ethics will present a class entitled Presentation Skills for Ethics Trainers. This two-day course is designed for ethics practitioners who will deliver ethics training. It prepares trainers in the skills necessary to design, develop and deliver ethics training effectively. The course teaches the students to prepare objectives, ask and answer questions, use effective verbal and physical delivery techniques and prepare and use visual aids. Students will actually present a 12-15 minute lesson incorporating these techniques. That lesson will be videotaped, replayed and critiqued by the group. Students should come prepared with a topic for presentation.

The no-fee class will be held Monday and Tuesday, March 28 and 29, 1994 at the University of Southern California located at 512 Tenth Street in Washington, DC from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. Please contact Sue Mason on (202) 523-5757, extension 1174 before March 21 to confirm your attendance.
