TETLIN: New Land Management Biologist Selected

Bud Johnson has been selected as the Refuge's Land Management Research Demonstration (LMRD) Biologist. Tetlin Refuge has been designated as the LMRD Area for fire ecology in the boreal forest. Under the LMRD program, Tetlin Refuge will monitor a selection of animal, plant, and physical elements essential to understanding the ecology and dynamics of fire across the Intermontane Boreal Ecoregion. Bud was formerly Tetlin's Supervisory Wildlife Biologist and has worked in interior Alaska for 16 years.
