NBC's Internal Efficiency & Effectiveness (IEE) Initiatives

The NBC is participating as a pilot in the E-Government Initiative, Intra-Governmental Transactions Portal (IGTP). NBC has developed interfaces to electronically send obligations and bill documents to the IGTP for obligation and billing approval and IPAC billing. The development of these interfaces are a first step toward the President’s goal of an electronic solution that removes the intra-governmental weakness as a barrier to a clean opinion, enabling better and timely cost information.

The NBC will continue to be a catalyst and active developer of next-generation E-Government applications as we are committed to providing excellent services, innovative solutions, and state-of-the-art products to meet the ever-changing business needs of our customers.
