Voters can check their residency and the status of their voter registration at: http://nymap.elections.state.ny.us/nysboe/.

Voting Assistance Officers should contact those citizens they assist who are New York voters and inform them of this news release and help them to request and return their absentee ballot. Remind all Military and Overseas residents of the 20th District that ballots must be postmarked by March 30, 2009 and must be received by the appropriate County Board of Elections by April 13, 2009 to be accepted and counted.
