Interior Secretary Salazar announced that $9 million in State Wildlife Grant Competitive Program funds will go to 12 state wildlife agencies to help conserve and recover imperiled fish and wildlife species. More...

04/10/2009 - Boating Infrastructure Grant Program
Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar announced that more than $12.5 million in competitive grants will be awarded to 11 states ranging from California to Maine for 14 boating infrastructure projects. These grant funds from the Service’s Boating Infrastructure Grant (BIG) program will help to fund the construction of docks, boat slips and other facilities to support recreational boating. More...

04/06/2009 - Multistate Conservation Grant Program
The announcement of availability of grants and request for Letters of Intent for the Calendar Year (CY) 2010 Mulitstate Conservation Grant Program is posted on Grants.gov. Please note that Letters of Intent are due to the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (AFWA) by May 6, 2009. The announcement and further information regarding the review process can also be found on AFWA’s web site.

03/27/2009 - WSFR National Training Program
Applications are being accepted for two WSFR Program courses to be held at NCTC in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. They are the Advanced Grants Management Course (October 5 – 7, 2009) and the Basic Grants Management Course (April 19 – 22, 2010). Applicants are required to register thru DOI Learn.
