The tornado touched down just southwest of the intersection of CR-33 and CR-72, where it damaged the roof of a mobile home, and tore off a covered deck and a portion of the attached roof of another home. Several large trees were also uprooted in this area. The tornado then tracked northeastward near Blue Springs State Park, with limited tree damage. Near the intersection of CR-70 and CR-41, a pecan tree was partially snapped and twisted, and another home sustained significant roof damage. Tornado debris punctured the roof of another home across the street. A total of 4 homes and one mobile home was damaged.

The tornado touched down around just southwest of the intersection of AL-69 and CR-38, near Windham Springs. From there, it traveled northeast across the intersection, and then roughly parallel to CR-38 for about 5 miles, before lifting northeast of the Wiley Community. At least 5 structures were heavily damaged, including a church in Windham Springs and a general store in Wiley. At least 300 trees were either snapped or uprooted along the damage path.

The tornado touched down between Gordo and the Tuscaloosa County line, near the intersection of Ben Elmore Road and CR-33. From there, it travelled east-northeast before crossing into Tuscaloosa County. A barn and several old chicken houses on CR-33 east of Gordo sustained heavy damage. The tornado was on the ground for less than a minute in Tuscaloosa County, producing only minor tree damage.

This tornado is a continuation of a tornado that originally touched down in Lowndes County Mississippi. It It crossed into Alabama near Willie Greer Road, just north AL-18. From there, it continued to move east-northeast, remaining just north of AL-18 as it passed close to the town of Molloy. The tornado finally lifted near McNees Crossing Road, just northeast of Molloy. Along its path in Alabama, the tornado took the roof off of two homes, destroyed 2 wooden barns, moved the foundation of 2 mobile homes, and uprooted several huge trees.

The tornado touched down in the White Oak Shores Community, about nine miles south of Eufaula along Walter F. George Lake. Several hundred trees were snapped off or uprooted along the path. Numerous mobile homes were damaged and some were totally destroyed at White Oak Shores. The tornado then tracked northeastward across White Oak Creek Park and into the far southern part of the Woodlawn Subdivision. The tornado track ended at the Chattahoochee River.

The tornado touched down south of the Walnut Hill Community, near the intersection of Prospect Road and State Highway 49. The tornado damaged a few homes and destroyed a mobile home on Butterfly Lane. The tornado tracked northeastward and damaged another home on Sandy Drive before lifting. Overall, at least three homes sustained damage, one trailer was totally destroyed and about 40 trees were snapped off. Maximum winds were estimated at 85 to 90 mph.

A severe thunderstorm spawned a weak tornado which damaged a church parsonage, several barns and farm equipment. It blew down a road sign and a few trees and power lines near the intersection of County Roads 45 and 13. Also, five homes were damaged. Reported by the Henry County EMA.

The tornado touched down at 12:20 PM CST in the Barbour County Wildlife Management Area, near the intersection of Charles Drive and County Road 49. It then moved northeastward and skirted County Road 49, then moved across a large wooded area and open pasture area. Several hundred trees were snapped off and uprooted near the beginning of the tornado damage path. As the tornado traveled northeast, a large warehouse at a family owned sod farm was completely destroyed. An office used by the sod farm was heavily damaged due to a large tree falling on it. The tornado crossed US 82 between the Comer community and the Batesville community. As the tornado crossed US 82, an automobile was tossed some 80 feet off the roadway. One male occupant of the car was injured and transported to the hospital. The tornado traveled just over a mile past US 82 and snapped off several hundred more trees before lifting north of US 82 near Bear Creek at approximately 1233 PM CST. The tornado snapped off many hundreds of trees along its path. One warehouse was destroyed, one office was heavily damaged, and one home sustained roof damage. Metal tin from the roof of a shed was thrown at least a half mile down the tornado path. At least one automobile was damaged and one man was injured. The tornado path length was 8.5 miles long and was 100 yards wide at its widest point.

A severe thunderstorm spawned a weak tornado which heavily damaged four chicken houses. It also damaged a rental house on the northeast side of Dale County 1. Debris was strewn across a field east of Dale County 1. Power lines were down across U.S. Highway 84. Residents along Joe Bruer Road, northeast of the chicken houses, reported broken limbs. Reported by the Dale County EMA.

An F1 tornado touched down along County Road 15, just south of the town of Belleville. The tornado tracked north northeast crossing U. S. Highway 84 before dissipating just north of the highway. Most of the damage was along both sides of U. S. Highway 84. Three homes were destroyed, and fifteen other structures and eight vehicles were damaged. Numerous power lines and trees were blown town along the track of the tornado. The Belleville fire department station was destroyed. Only one cinder block wall was left standing at the station. One person was killed when a chimney in her home collapsed on top of her. She had just got into the brick home and was putting her purse down when the chimney fell on top of her.

The first tornado of 2005 occurred in Hale County. The weak tornado touched down approximately 3 miles southwest of Greensboro near State Highway 69. Several out-buildings were destroyed near the Thigpen residence on Highway 69 south. One house had significant roof damage and one vehicle sustained body and window damage. One tractor had the enclosed top ripped off. At least 50 trees were snapped off or blown over along the short path. The brief tornado touched down at 1112 pm and lifted at 1114 pm CST. The tornado was rated an F0. The tornado damage path was approximately 3/4 of a mile long and 75 yards wide at its widest point.

A tornado briefly touched down 5 miles south of Muscle Shoals with little or no damage. The tornado was also reported on the Muscle Shoals surface observation at 1543 through 1557. Emergency management surveyed the area of the tornado report and could not find any damage in a mostly open area.

A tornado touched down north of Newville, knocking a small wood frame house off its blocks. Two miles further east the tornado caused extensive damage to a home and destroyed another unoccupied home. A barn was destroyed and several vehicles were damaged. The tornado then damaged a house two miles further east. Finally, another two miles east it damaged a house.

A thunderstorm hit the Flat Rock area at exactly 12:30 am with what was probably a weak tornado. A church sustained heavy damage; the west wall collapsed and the roof fell in. Forty to 50 -foot oak trees near the church were downed. About a mile down the path of damage, a roof had shingles lifted off and several large trees were downed. About two miles from the church, 15 to 20 large pine trees were downed. The damage was very isolated to the path. A house 100 feet from the church sustained no damage.

A TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ALONG US HWY 45 NEAR GULF CREST AND THEN MOVED NORTHEAST FOR ABOUT 2 MILES. THREE PEOPLE WERE INJURED AND ONE OF THESE DIED IN A LOCAL HOSPITAL ABOUT A WEEK LATER. TWO ELDERLY WOMEN WERE IN A TRAILER THAT WAS TURNED OVER BY THE TORNADO. ANOTHER OF THE INJURED WAS IN A MOTOR HOME NEXT TO THE TRAILER. THE TRAILER WAS LOCATED ON A HILL AND THIS WAS WHERE THE TORNADO FIRST TOUCHED DOWN. OTHER HOMES AWAY FROM THE TRAILER SUFFERED ROOF DAMAGE AS THE TORNADO MOVED NORTHEAST. TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN AND TWISTED ALONG THE PATH OF THE TORNADO.

Touched down near Lily Hill and moved across I-65 into Verbena, where it merged with the path of the tornado that had hit Verbena at 16:18 CST. Six people where injured in the Lily Hill Community where 1 home was completely swept away and 2 others almost destroyed. Four of the injured were in the home that was swept away and 3 of them were admitted to the hospital. One of the occupants landed on a truck that was parked outside the home. The others were apparently blown into an open filed in front of the house. Buildings were damaged in Verbena. Rescue workers that were checking on damage from the 16:18 storm were forced to take cover.

A tornado touched down just W of U.S. Highway 31 and moved northeastward across part of Verbena and the Lake Mitchell area to near Kelly Cross Roads in SW coosa County. A service station was destroyed in Verbena along with 4 mobile homes. At least 1 home was damaged. Several mobile homes and boats were destroyed and some houses damaged in the Lake Mitchell area. Damage in Coosa County was limited to trees.

6 homes were destroyed in Alabama. A 2 year old boy was killed in his home near Ashford.

Two homes were destroyed and one was unroofed.

Farm homes were destroyed and one couple was killed near Fyffe. A man and his grandaughter died in a home at Morgan's Crossroads. At least 4 homes and many other buildings were destroyed on Sand Mountain.

35 homes were damaged or destroyed and debris was thrown miles.

5 tenant homes and 4 barns were destroyed.
1932 1 12 1715 Hale-Tuscaloosa F3 8.0 9 29 Moundville
At least 30 homes were severely damaged or destroyed. The Moundville elementary school was heavily damaged. Deaths occurred in at least 5 different homes. In the Guinea community just south of Moundville, 9 people were killed and a number of dwellings were destroyed.

One home was totally destroyed in the Hardwicksburg community.
1918 1 11 1340 Houston F3 13.0 10 120 3 S Dothan-Webb
The tornado leveled one rural school, killing one teacher and 7 students. Virtually every building in the Webb community was damaged. One man was killed in the collapse of a store and 70 others injured in town.

A barn and farm house were destroyed.

6 buildings were damaged or destroyed in the Josie community. 2 boys were killed and several students were injured when school walls were blown down. A large farm house was destroyed and two women were critically injured.

4 tenant homes were destroyed on a plantation and the main home had a wing torn off.

The northern half of town was leveled and half the populaton was killed or injured. One death occurred at Hull where 4 homes, a lumber mill, and a church were destroyed.

Hundreds of trees were blown down and several barns were destroyed.
1895 1 15 2030 Baldwin F2 5.0 0 4 Point Cedar-Battles Wharf
A waterspout moved inland and demolished a section of the Grand Hotel. A large part of the wharf was destroyed. Additional damage occurred up to 5 miles inland.
1892 1 5 1700 Chambers-Randolph F2 15.0 3 20 Milltown-12 SW of Roanoke-to Georgia state line
14 homes were destroyed. 3 people were killed in homes just south of Roanoke. College buildings and a church were destroyed in Milltown. Large areas of timber were downed.
1885 1 11 2300 Macon F2 8.0 1 5 11 E of Tuskegee
Timber was leveled. Several houses in four settlements were destroyed. One man was killed. Most of the damage occurred in the Little Texas community.
1885 1 11 2115 Coosa-Clay-Randolph F3 60.0 2 20 W of Mt. Olive-3 N Goodwater-2 S Wedowee-N of Roanoke
16 farms were devastated in Coosa Co. One death occurred in Coosa and one in Clay Co.
1885 1 11 1900 Blount-Cullman-Marshall-Dekalb F2 35.0 3 20 Warrior River-4 S Albertville-Collinsville
One person was killed in Marshall Co and two in Dekalb Co. A child was killed and 13 were injured near Collinsville.
1885 1 11 1830 Greene-Hale-Bibb-Chilton F4 80.0 2 20 Tombigbee River-3 S Centreville-NE Jemison
Several large farm homes were completely swept away. One death was in Greene Co and one in Bibb Co. Multiple tornadoes were reported.
1885 1 11 1700 Lamar-Fayette-Walker F3 40.0 1 25 2 N Vernon-10 N Fayette-3 SE Eldridge
Over a dozen plantations were demolished in Fayette Co. Over 100 head of cattle were killed and miles of timber were leveled.
