diverse faces and topicsFirst Tuesdays is a series of public policy events on a wide variety of current topics. Drawing from InstituteKim Rueben researchers and area experts, these lunchtime discussions offer authoritative analysis and audience interaction on topics ranging from social services and politics to faith and well-being.


childrenThursday's Child spotlights the daunting pathways through childhood, along with the public programs and policies meant to ease the journey. The series is co-sponsored by the Urban Institute and the University of Chicago's Chapin Hall Center for Children.
