PPS' Public Market Program aims to foster innovation and new models for public markets that are economically sustainable while maximizing their benefits on their communities, and contributing to the creation of the public places that attract a broad diversity of people.

Our "Diversifying Public Markets and Farmers Markets" grant program has concluded and we are not releasing an RFP for 2008.

We are evaluating and assisting over 30 Kaiser Permanente farmers markets across the country to ensure that they remain financially viable, continually improve staff, members, and local communities' access to fresh, local produce, and become successful public gathering places in their own right
