Books that Inspire 2009

Created to highlight the important role that books have played in the lives of OU faculty and staff, this exhibit includes a photo of each participant, a copy of the book and a statement about the influence of the book on the participant. Books featured in the current Books That Inspire exhibit will celebrate American literature in honor of Melville's The Whale, the 5 millionth volume added to the University Libraries' collection. The Books That Inspire exhibit is presented through a partnership between the OU Libraries and Athletics Department.

Laptops

Dell laptops and Apple Macbooks are available for checkout in the Microforms Area Service Desk on Lower Level I of Bizzell Memorial Library. The computers circulate for 3 hours and must remain in the library.

Sooner Xpress

Sooner Xpress is the University of Oklahoma Campus Document Delivery Service for faculty, staff, and graduate students. Sooner Xpress provides copies of journal articles, copies of book chapters, and books from the OU Libraries' collection to faculty, staff, and graduate students for their personal research.

SocINDEX

Indexes literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. Provides abstracts and citations to journal articles, books, and conference papers. Includes author profiles.
