The Roosevelt-Vanderbilt Historical Association is responsible for the gift shops located in the Vanderbilt Pavilion on the Vanderbilt Estate and at Eleanor Roosevelt's Val-Kill. They sell a variety of items relating to the Hudson Valley, Roosevelts,         Vanderbilts, and the National Park Service.

The purchases made at any of  the Roosevelt-Vanderbilt Historical Association sales outlets help support interpretive, educational, and visitor service programs at the individual parks in Hyde Park. For more information call 845-229-9300.

Mouns Jones House

Swedish pioneers were the first European settlers in present Berks County, on land granted by William Penn, 1704-5. The home of Mouns Jones, built 1716 and the oldest house in the county, stands at Morlatton Village, Douglassville.
