The labor market improves and declines in swings that are conditioned by, similar to, and part of the general business cycle. The tables in this section contain indicators of the current condition of the labor market; the state of labor market-related processes that are more highly sensitive to cyclical swings and, therefore, tend to reach turning points somewhat earlier; and the complete cycle of processes that take longer to unfold and thus reach their turning points somewhat later.
