(GUAM) As of 5:00 p.m. today, Guam Homeland Security and the Office Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) will close the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and Joint Information Center (JIC). The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) Incident Command Center (PHICC) will remain fully operational Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

HAWAII CONFIRMS H1N1 CASES, GUAM REMAINS VIGILANT May 5, 2009
(GUAM) The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) in conjunction with Guam Homeland Security and the Office of Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) is reporting confirmation of Hawaii’s first cases of the H1N1 influenza virus, a novel strain of influenza commonly referred to as "swine flu,". GHS/OCD received confirmation from the Hawaii State Emergency Operations Center this morning.
