CHPS project activities during Q1 FY09
- A new CHPS Data Forcings team formed and met regularly this quarter. Information can be found here.
- CHPS migration training for the CAT RFCs has been delayed by one month. More details here

- Migration of NWSRFS models to the new CHPS environment continued, with software acceptance testing occurring during the week of December 16. Additional details are available here.

NOAA’s National Weather Service (NWS) River Forecast Centers (RFCs) are key partners in the provision of water resource information. NOAA’s Community Hydrologic Prediction System (CHPS) will enable NOAA’s water research and development enterprise and operational service delivery infrastructure to be integrated and leveraged with other federal water agency activities, academia, and the private sector.
