Materials For Loan

Educational kits, films, and book loans are available at many of the Alaska Public Lands Information Centers. Kit topics include owl pellets, animal tracks, minerals, marine mammals, the Gold Rush, map & compass, birds, fish, insects, trees, water, and wetlands. Films are in vhs and/or dvd and include a variety of topics also pertinent to the classroom. Other materials for loan include Alaska-specific curriculum and books.

Most materials can be reserved ahead of time. Some kits, film, and book loans are available around the state or outside Alaska. Others, due to their size or fragility, cannot be mailed.
