Mentoring Program Application
Fill out our simple online Mentoring Program application here, and EPA will follow up with a match based on your criteria.
Whether you are interested in a simple phone call or a working relationship with a current member, our Mentoring Program can get you on the right track and steer you toward environmental excellence.
The Mentoring Program matches potential and current Performance Track members with high-performing facilities currently in the program.
The Performance Track Mentoring Program offers the following four levels of mentoring in order to meet the needs of all facilities:
Potential Members:
- Contact a current member to obtain more information about the program;
- Request assistance with the application;
- Work with a current member to make improvements that would enable your facility to qualify for Performance Track.
Current Members:
- Improve your environmental program with help from a high-performing member in the program.
To be matched with a mentor , please contact Michael Kane at kane.michael@epa.gov.
Mentoring program participants will benefit in the following ways:
Gain Participant Perspective - By talking to a current member, potential members will gain valuable insights about program eligibility criteria and membership benefits.
One-on-One Assistance - A personalized mentoring relationship means that a mentee will receive hands-on assistance from a current Performance Track member.
Application Assistance - A mentor will guide the mentee in setting performance goals and applying performance measurements that can be easily transferred to the Performance Track Application.
Learn Best Practices from Environmental Leaders - Through the mentoring relationship, a potential (or current) Performance Track member will benefit from an existing member's experience in implementing innovative and cost-effective environmental techniques.
