Diversify your student body and learn the best tactics to recruit students from Egypt!

This interactive webinar will present strategies for recruiting students from Egypt with a special focus on Community Colleges. The Fulbright Commission has to put in place a program to fund hundreds of Egyptian students to attend Community Colleges in the United States, and the U.S. Embassy in Egypt is specifically promoting Community College education as a more affordable option for Egyptians to pursue an American degree. All schools, however, can benefit from the information shared in this event. The webinar will include information on the educational system and economic overview of Egypt, unique opportunities with Fulbright and Amid-East, the latest visa procedures and guidance, and assistance from the U.S. Department of Commerce and State. Speakers include representatives from the Fulbright Commission in Egypt, Middle East Educational Promoter Amid-East, and officers from the Commercial and Consular Sections of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.

  • Amid-East: Hear from the American education market leader Amid-East on the education market in the Middle East and their special role in Egypt.
  • Visa Officer, U.S. Embassy, Cairo: A consular officer will join the conversation to address issues and questions on the student visa process.
