Food Quality Protection Act Implementation for Reduced-Risk Practices for Pest Management

Funding Sources
Purpose To support projects for education, extension, demonstration and implementation of integrated pest management practices and related methods of sustainable agricultural to motivate on-the-ground transition away from pesticides targeted by the Food Quality Protection Act (FQPA).
Eligible Applicants States, U.S. territories or possessions, federally recognized Indian Tribal governments and intertribal consortia, public and private universities and colleges, hospitals, laboratories, other public and private non-profit institutions, and individuals are eligible to apply for funding.
Award Amount

$50,000-$100,000.

Total Awarded in Fiscal Year $350,000 for FY2009.
Matching Share No matching share required but applicants are strongly encouraged to leverage funds from other sources.
