Purpose | To support projects for education, extension, demonstration and implementation of integrated pest management practices and related methods of sustainable agricultural to motivate on-the-ground transition away from pesticides targeted by the Food Quality Protection Act (FQPA). |
Eligible Applicants | States, U.S. territories or possessions, federally recognized Indian Tribal governments and intertribal consortia, public and private universities and colleges, hospitals, laboratories, other public and private non-profit institutions, and individuals are eligible to apply for funding. |
Award Amount | $50,000-$100,000. |
Total Awarded in Fiscal Year | $350,000 for FY2009. |
Matching Share | No matching share required but applicants are strongly encouraged to leverage funds from other sources. |
