Section membership provides unique opportunities for participation within the College. Sections provide a forum for members with specific clinical or professional interests to identify and advance professional priorities. Section dues support opportunities for meeting, networking, and sharing of information within the specialty. Join us to support initiatives in quality, advocacy, research, workforce and training issues.

Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology —The American College of Cardiology’s Adult Congenital and Pediatric Cardiology Section connects more than 1,000 pediatric cardiologists, adult congenital cardiologists, congenital heart disease surgeons and cardiac care associates to advance the professional priorities and interests of the congenital heart disease community.

Interventional Scientific Section and Council – All members of the College who are certified in Interventional Cardiology or have identified Interventional Cardiology as an area of interest in their member profile are invited to join. ACC Surgeon members – ACC surgeon members are critical to advancing the College’s discussions and activities related to the Surgeon-Cardiologist collaboration. ACC holds the perspective of the cardiac surgeon in highest regard and offers a unique opportunity to network, collaborate, educate as well as learn from cardiology colleagues. We invite you to share your thoughts on strengthening the surgeon perspective within the College

Women In CardiologyThe Women in Cardiology Council and section is dedicated to assisting the career development of women cardiologists and those considering careers in cardiology. With over 1,000 members, the Section provides ample opportunity for networking and mentoring.

CV Specialists Concerned About Disparities in Cardiac CareThis site is designed to educate members on efforts to find solutions to racial/ethnic disparities in patient care.

Training Directors information - This section is designed as a place for Training Director’s to be informed of upcoming meetings, discuss current topics and address challenges with training programs.
