Audubon International

(PESP Supporter since August 1997)

Audubon International is a not-for-profit environmental organization dedicated to sustainable resource management and environmental conservation through education, research, and public involvement.  Audubon International Promotes ecologically sound land management, habitat restoration, and natural resource conservation.

Audubon International manages the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System, an educational program which provides information, guidance, and support to individuals, schools, businesses, and golf courses to encourage people to become personally involved in managing habitat for both people and wildlife.  Audubon International also manages the Audubon Signature Program, a conservation assistance program designed to work with projects in the planning states of development, to ensure that land development occurs with a primary focus on sustainable natural resource management.

Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System
The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System provides information, advice, guidance, and incentives to help people become active stewards of the environment by conserving natural resources and improving environmental quality.  The program focuses on environmental planning, wildlife habitat management, water conservation, water quality management, Integrated Pest Management, and outreach and education.

Audubon Signature Program
The Audubon Signature Program provides comprehensive environmental planning assistance to landowners with projects in the design and development stages.  The program focuses on wildlife conservation and habitat enhancement, water quality management and conservation, waste reduction and management, energy efficiency, and Integrated Pest Management.
