Lawrence M. D'Elia

Assistant Director, Administration Division

Executive Office for Immigration Review

Larry D'Elia was appointed Assistant Director for Administration, Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) in May 1999. The Administration Division includes EOIR's budget, finance, personnel (human resources), procurement, and contracting functions. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Director, Mr. D'Elia served in a variety of capacities within EOIR, including: Deputy Associate Director for Budget and Finance; Deputy Executive Officer; Chief, Evaluation Staff, Office of Management and Administration; and Program Analyst, Office of the Chief Immigration Judge.

Mr. D'Elia joined the Department of Justice in 1981 as a Presidential Management Intern with the Criminal Division. He graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of San Francisco (1978) and received a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Southern California (1980).
