Assisted Acquisition Services

GSA Assisted Acquisition Services provide acquisition, technical and project management support to assist agencies in acquiring and deploying primarily information technology and professional services.

Assisted Acquisition Services allow client agencies to delegate some or all of the elements of an acquisition to GSA. GSA can provide technical, acquisition, program and financial management support customized to each project as directed by the client. When clients call, they set in motion experienced contracting officers and technical specialists who help define what they need and the best way to get it. Depending on agency requirements, GSA manages contractor performance, project funding and invoice payment, and any 8(a) and/or small business credit goes back to the client agency.
