Ohio's Online Virtual Watershed Tour

What is a watershed? What are the components that make up a watershed? These seem to be simple questions but many adults and children in our communities don't know the answers. In this very basic introduction to watersheds prepared by the Ohio State University's Extension Service, these and other questions are answered in interesting and fun ways. The Virtual Watershed Tour Exit EPA Disclaimer is modeled after a float trip along the entire length of an imaginary stream, from its headwaters all the way to the Ohio River. It requires about 15 minutes viewing time and is suitable for general audiences.

Many Watershed Academy Web modules link to sites outside of EPA to provide additional information. These links are marked with the following symbol and reflect the following policy on external links: Exit EPA Disclaimer Links to non-EPA sites do not imply any official EPA endorsement of or responsibility for the opinions, ideas, data, or products presented at those locations, or guarantee the validity of the information provided. Links to non-EPA servers are provided solely as a pointer to information on topics related to environmental protection that may be useful to EPA staff and the public.
