GEI establishes acceptable indoor air standards for indoor products, environments and buildings. The advisory board members are experts in this field and volunteer their services. Buildings and products can be registered and certified.
Consumer Product Information
Database or Household Products Database
CPID, produced by DeLima Associates. Database established in 1994 through the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help inform consumers about household
products. Site includes: glossary of terms, FAQ's, recalled products, search
by product type, brand, ingredients, and manufacturers. Includes arts and crafts,
personal care and pet care; also related Material Safety Data Sheets, MSDS.
The Household Products Database is the same information as in CPID, but is located
on the National Library of Medicine Web site.
Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA)
