The Physician List
The physicians included in this list are medical directors of ALS Association CentersSM or ALS Clinics. ALS Association CentersSM are centers of excellence that are certified by The ALS Association as meeting rigorous standards including multidisciplinary care and ALS research. The ALS Association's ALS Clinics also offer the multidisciplinary team approach to care and research. Many of the ALS Clinics are applying for ALS Association CenterSM certification. Both ALS Association CentersSM and ALS Clinics work in close coordination with the local Chapters of The ALS Association. The Physician List is an information tool for patients and families facing a possible diagnosis of ALS and those who are living with the disease. It is intended to identify some of the physicians who take care of people with ALS in the geographic service areas covered by The ALS Association's Chapters and Free Standing Support Groups. This list is not designed to be an exhaustive compendium of all ALS physicians or to convey any specific recommendation from The ALS Association.

People living with ALS should check with individual physicians to determine which of them have contractual arrangements under your health insurance plan.
