NAVY

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, Fla., is being issued a $54,991,242 ceiling-priced delivery order for 223 forward-looking infrared radar items in support of F/A-18C/D aircraft. These items included cable assemblies, circuit card assemblies, and gyroscope assemblies. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., and is expected to be completed by August 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was a limited competitive procurement with two proposals solicited and both provided offers limited to the items above. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity. (N00383-96-G-001A).

Nova Group, Inc., Napa, Calif., is being awarded a $15,600,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for the complete removal and replacement of the existing type I petroleum oil lubricant hydrant fuel systems with the new Air Force type III hydrant refueling system standard at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Work will be performed in Guam, and is expected to be completed by August 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 65 proposals solicited and six offers received. The Regional Officer in Charge of Contracts, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-99-C-1337).

ERAPSCO, Columbia City, Ind., is being awarded a $15,505,514 firm-fixed-price contract to provide 2,483 AN/SSQ-101 sonobuoys and associated data. Work will be performed in DeLeon Springs, Fla. (50%) and Columbia City, Ind. (50%), and is expected to be completed by April 2002. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity. (N00164-00-C-0028).

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $8,245,000 firm-fixed price task order under a multiple award construction contract for a centralized sewage treatment plant at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head. Work will be performed in Indian Head, Md., and is expected to be completed by October 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed $500,000,000. The basic contract was competitively procured with 60 proposals solicited, 24 offers received and award was made to multiple contractors on 19 August 1999. The multiple contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing contract. Five proposals were received for this task order. The Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62477-99-D-0019).

Nassau Tool Works, Inc., West Babylon, N.Y., is being issued a $6,370,776 priced order for 36 cylinder and piston assemblies, 36 pistons, and 12 cylinders in support of the F-18 C/D nose landing gear. Work will be performed in West Babylon, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by December 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The order was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-99-G-009A).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Nucletron Corporation, Columbia, Md., is being awarded a $30,000,000 indefinite-delivery contract for radiation oncology systems and subsystems. Twenty proposals were solicited and fifteen were received. Work will be performed in Veenendaal, Holland, and is expected to be completed by April 28, 2001. AIR FORCE

Computer Sciences Corp., Edwards AFB, Calif., is being awarded a $26,357,464 (estimated) modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for additional FY 00 technical and engineering support for the Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, Calif., and the Utah Test and Training Range. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2000. Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04611-92-C-0045-P00296).

Pyramid Services, Alamogordo, N.M., is being awarded a $9,908,790 fixed-price-award-fee contract to provide for operations and maintenance services from July 2000 through June 2001 for the common areas at Air Force Plant 42, Palmdale, Calif. This effort includes security and law enforcement, aircraft rescue, engineering services, vehicle maintenance, airfield maintenance, aircraft refueling, control tower support, joint administrative services, rubbish collection, water and sewage systems, inventory maintenance, and general maintenance. There were 25 firms solicited and six proposals received. Expected contract completion date is June 2001. Solicitation issue date was Aug. 6, 1999. Negotiation completion date was March 15, 2000. Luminescent Systems Inc., East Aurora, N.Y., is being awarded a $9,397,301 option to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 225 Night Vision Imaging System kits and associated bulk items applicable to the F-16C aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Oct. 31, 2001. Solicitation issue date was Oct. 28, 1997. Negotiation completion date was April 13, 1998. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97-C-0022-P00008).

Allied Signal Inc., Tempe, Ariz., is being awarded a $6,450,000 (estimated) firm-fixed-price requirements contract to provide for repair and overhaul support through April 2005 for 35 components of the four bearing version of the GTCP 85 Series Gas Turbine engines used on the C-130 aircraft as a secondary power supply and in ground equipment applicable to various aircraft. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. There were nine firms solicited and six proposals received. Expected contract completion date is April 2005. Solicitation issue date was Aug. 2, 1999. Negotiation completion date was March 9, 2000. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-00-D-0160).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., Berkeley, Mo., is being awarded a $5,648,796 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for incorporation of Pin-Lock Tail Actuator System technology into the production effort for 8,163 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) kits. JDAM is a strap-on kit with Inertial Navigation System/Global Positioning System capability that will provide an improved aerial delivery capability for existing 1,000 and 2,000 pound bombs. The Pin-Lock Tail Actuator System provides a more durable and accurate method of maneuvering the tail fins of the JDAM than the current Friction Brake technology. Expected contract completion date is March 31, 2001. Negotiation completion date was Feb. 24, 2000. Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-00-C-0032-P00001).

ARMY

Bulova Technologies* LLC, Lancaster, Pa., is being awarded a $20,801,884 modification (firm-fixed-price) to cost-plus-incentive-fee contract DAAE30-98-C-1086, for an additional quantity of 156,352 fuzes (M767A1) plus boostering of all 228,000 fuzes (M767A1) deliverable on subject contract. Work will be performed in Lancaster, Pa. (91.9%), and East Camden, Ark. (8.1%), and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2002. Of the total contract funds, $523,030 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement in the Commerce Business Daily on Dec. 17, 1997, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Missiles & Fire Control-Dallas, Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded an $11,255,233 increment as part of a $19,409,862 modification to cost-plus-incentive-fee contract DAAH01-95-C-0001, for incorporation of mandatory/incentive value engineering clause (FAR 52.248-1, Alternate II) into the Army Tactical Missile System Block II. Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 28, 1994. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

Pease & Sons Inc., Tacoma, Wash., is being awarded an $8,407,914 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of health clinic and dental clinic replacements in North Fort Lewis. Work will be performed in Fort Lewis, Wash., and is expected to be completed by April 21, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 250 bids solicited on April 21, 2000, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle, Wash., is the contracting activity (DACA67-00-C-0221).

Medlin Construction Group Inc.*, San Antonio, Texas, was awarded on April 27, 2000, a $7,582,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a composite support facility. Work will be performed at Fresno Air National Guard Base, Fresno, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 25 bids solicited on Dec. 22, 1999, and 11 bids were received. The National Guard Bureau, San Luis Obispo, Calif., is the contracting activity (DAHA04-00-C-0003).

General Electric Co., Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $7,491,968 firm-fixed-price contract for two 401C spare engines (complete) without warranty and with containers and ten 401C install engines (complete) with warranty and without containers. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 20, 1997. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAJ09-97-D-0196).

Hunt Building Corp., El Paso, Texas, is being awarded a $6,889,408 firm-fixed-price contract for whole neighborhood renewal (design/construct) of Harrison Villa III. Work will be performed at Fort Lee, Va., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Inc.*, Chesterhill, Ohio, is being awarded a $200,000 increment as part of a $5,198,856 firm-fixed-price contract for underwater excavation and placement of stone to form eight training dikes along the upstream approach to the locks. Work will be performed at the Charlerei Lock and Dam, Belle Vernon, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 2, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
