AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corp., Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $52,179,753 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 24 AN/APG68(V)8 fire control radar systems and 11 lots of spares applicable to the F-16 aircraft. This effort supports foreign military sales to Egypt. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 31, 2001. Solicitation issue date was April 29, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-99-C-0029-PZ0001).

BF Goodrich Company, Troy, Ohio, is being awarded a $6,043,501 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 361 heat Stack Assemblies in support of the C-5 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Jan. 31, 2002. Solicitation issue date was April 3, 2000. Negotiation completion date was April 5, 2000. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-98-D-0163-0005).

Raytheon Company, Goleta, Calif., is being awarded a $5,437,361 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for 298 modification kits (149 depot installation, 149 field installation) applicable to the AN/ALQ-184 electronic attack pod on the F-15, F-16, and A-10 aircraft. These kits upgrade the pods from versions seven and eight to version 11. Expected contract completion date is September, 2001. Solicitation issue date was July 25, 1996. Negotiation completion date was Sept. 9, 1996. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-96-C-0613-P00009).

ARMY

O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Co., Fairfield, Ohio, is being awarded a $24,462,234 firm-fixed-price contract for 360 Up-armor, High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicles (M1114 - HMMWV). Work will be performed in Fairfield, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 20, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-00-C-S019).

EMI Technologies*, Las Cruces, N.M., was awarded a delivery order amount of $373 on April 7, 2000, as part of a $15,251,101 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the fabrication of general purpose instrumentation vans. The project includes the integration and installation of instrumentation equipment and modification and refurbishing of existing trailers and shelters. Work will be performed in Las Cruces, N.M., and is expected to be completed by April 6, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 18 bids solicited on Nov. 30, 1999, and one bid was received. The U.S. Army Test & Evaluation Command, White Sands, N.M., is the contracting activity (DAAD07-00-D-0002).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Luhr Brothers Inc., Columbia, Ill., was awarded on April 6, 2000, a $1,000,000 increment of a $5,800,000 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DACW43-99-C-0408, for work on a levee. Work will be performed in Saint Genevieve County, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 12, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 165 bids solicited on March 12, 1998, and ten bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis, Mo., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Aero Simulation, Inc., Tampa, Fla., is being awarded a $12,091,118 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of one VH-3D and one VH-60N Aircrew Procedures Trainer for the U.S. Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1), including associated support and data. Work will be performed in Tampa, Fla., and is expected to be completed by April 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 17 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-00-C-0338).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems, Syosset, N.Y., is being awarded a $7,490,567 modification to previously awarded contract N61339-87-C-0056 to provide additional funding for the procurement of 38 TOW Precision Gunnery Training Systems (15 outdoor field trainers with four spares and 15 indoor gunnery trainers with four spares). These systems are being procured for the government of Taiwan (100%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Syosset, N.Y. (63%); Hertford, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom (31%); and Woodland Hills, Calif. (6%), and is expected to be completed by July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity.
