Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host an honor cordon to welcome Minister of National Defense Luis Fernando Ramirez, of the Republic of Colombia, to the Pentagon at 11 a.m. EDT, Thursday, April 27, 2000.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the River Entrance no later than 10:40 a.m. EDT for the cordon.
Cohen and Ramirez will conduct a joint media availability in Room 3E869 of the Pentagon at 11:50 a.m. EDT. Media without Pentagon credentials must be at the River Entrance of the Pentagon no later than 11:30 a.m. EDT for admission.
