...NWS Springfield at the Ozark Empire Fair...

The Ozark Empire Fair will return to Springfield on Friday, July 27th and remain through Sunday, August 5th.  The National Weather Service in Springfield and will share a booth in the West Hall of the E*Plex with Greene County Emergency Management and the American Red Cross.  A tornado machine, producing a working model of a tornado, and a safe room model will be in the booth, along with plenty of handouts and informational material.  NWS Springfield staff members will also be available to answer questions.  For more information on the Ozark Empire Fair, check out the official Fair web site:
