Cyterra Corp.*, Waltham, Mass., is being awarded a $2,376,000 increment as part of a $12,286,992 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the design, fabrication, quality control and delivery of 22 Handheld Standoff Mine Detection Systems (HSTAMIDS); 18 for developmental test and operator test and four working prototype units. Kerns Manufacturing, Long Island City, NY, is being awarded a $41,568,575 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for up to 69,817 vanes of various types applicable to the F100 engine on the F-16 aircraft. The best estimated quantity is 46,543 vanes at an estimated cost of $26,277,933. The AF can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, through actual requirements may necessitate less than this amount. TRW Space and Electronics Group, Redondo Beach, Calif., and Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, Calif., are each being awarded $25,600,000 modifications to firm-fixed-price contracts. This will provide a total system Preliminary Design Review as part of the program definition and risk reduction effort supporting the National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS). Lockheed Martin Mission Systems, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded an $8,133,772 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for satellite collision avoidance tracking activities, and hardware, software, and associated support for the Integrated Space Command and Control (ISC2) program. This program provides for modernization of the command and control system of North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Space Command into an integrated, interoperable, state-of-the-art capability to support the National Command Authority and the Canadian Chief of Defense Staff. This system will provide warning of ballistic missile, aircraft, space, and information attacks against North America. This program will integrate worldwide communication networks, computer systems, and software to provide political and military commanders an integrated view of worldwide events.
