- Environmental Justice Small Grants Awarded - On March 24, 2009, EPA announced $800,000 in grants across the country for improving the environment in communities facing environmental justice issues.
- Application for 2009 National Achievements in Environmental Justice Awards - On February 12, 2009, a new announcement was released for the Environmental Justice Achievement Awards Program was released. The 2009 National Achievements in Environmental Justice Awards will recognize multi-stakeholder partnerships for their success in addressing environmental justice issues. Applications must be post-marked or emailed by no later than May 13, 2009.
