Thank you for your interest in the Arthritis Foundation.  Our hope is to serve you and your family with helpful information.  We have an increasing number of friends at the Arthritis Foundation who now are benefiting from life income gifts, gift annuities and other plans. DONOR ALERT!  IRA Charitable Rollover extension signed into law

 

President Bush has signed into law the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 which includes an extension of the IRA Charitable Rollover to December 31, 2009.

This legislation includes the immediate and retroactive extension of the popular Pension Protection Act provision. Taxpayers over 70 ½ are allowed to make tax-free distributions from their traditional and Roth IRAs directly to qualified charities like Plan USA in tax years 2008 and 2009.  Please read the stories below to see how you could benefit.

Benefits For Family and Arthritis
