Welcome to Perry's Victory & IPM at Put-in-Bay, South Bass Island, Ohio. The area is a unique place situated on a small island, two miles by four miles in size. Access to the island is by plane or 18 minute ferry boat ride. The area is known for it's walleye fishing and night life. The monument to international peace and Perry's victory in the war of 1812 is the nation's third tallest monument.

The United States went to war against Great Britain in an unprepared state. When war was declared on June 18, 1812 the Royal Navy possessed three warships for every U.S. naval gun. The British Navy outnumbered the U.S. Navy 17 to 1.
