Attention UMLS Licensees: The 2007AC edition of the UMLS Knowledge Sources is available for downloading and searching. 2007AC Statistics The 2007AB Metathesaurus contains more than 1.4 million concepts and 7.2 million unique concept names from over 100 source vocabularies. 22 source vocabularies were updated, including MeSH, ICD-9-CM 2008, LOINC, SNOMED CT and RxNorm. No new sources were added. A complete list is available at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/research/umls/updated_sources.html. DVDs As always, the production and mailing of the DVDs for those who have requested them lags the release by about 25 days. Those who have previously requested the DVD will automatically be sent a 2007AB DVD. If you want to request the DVDs of the releases, send an e-mail to [log in to unmask], and be sure to include your license number. Also available for download: RxNorm New RxNorm release for 11/05/07, which contains updates to six sources: GS MDDB MMSL MMX MTHSPL NDDF SNOMED Términos Clínicos (SNOMED CT ) Edición en Español. This is the October 2007 Spanish Edition of the International Release of SNOMED CT, which consists of the Spanish-language versions of the July 2007 International Release English terminology and key documentation. It is distributed as a single zipped file, SNOMED_CT_Spanish_Edition_20071031.zip (47.5MB), with a ReadMe file that describes its contents.
