FY 2000 Great Lakes Guidance Preproposal Selection

Decisions on Preproposals for GLNPO FY2000 grants have been made. 

Earlier this year, 152 applicants submitted 264 preproposals, seeking $30 million in funding. From that group, GLNPO is now requesting 38 full proposals totaling $2.9 million (see the list at the end of this message). 

Please be aware that the final decisions on whether to fund particular projects will only be made following receipt of the full proposals. Also note that you may be asked to submit a full proposal for an amount different than originally requested. Additional negotiation may be necessary regarding the projects and amounts. If a full proposal is requested, we will be sending you specific guidance along with a grant application kit.

Whenever possible, we have tried to match the projects for which full proposals are not being requested with other funding sources. Should you have questions concerning that follow-up effort or about GLNPO's review process, please contact the applicable person below:
