Description: Unfortunately, at some time or another we all encounter people who make our lives a little more difficult. This can be particularly touchy at work, when we’re trying to make sure we get the job done. In this workshop, we will discuss the best practices to use with different kinds of difficult people; learning how to choose an appropriate response, avoiding common mistakes, and being proactive rather than reactive.

The NIH Work/Life Center, in conjunction with the Employee Assistance Program, is pleased to announce the fourth annual "Faces and Phases of Life" seminar series. This successful series brings expert speakers to campus to address a broad range of quality of work and quality of life issues.
