GSA NCR Recycling Program has received the following awards and recognition:

• 2005 GSA Environmental Award for sustained yearly growth in tons
  recycled and revenue earned.
  
  
• 2001 White House Closing the Circle honorable mention for
  "Composting the White House Paper," in which disintegrated office paper is turned into mulch.
  
  
• 1995 Business Recycling Award from the Metropolitan Washington
  Council of Governments for excellence in recycling and waste reduction.
