US Fish & Wildlife Service - Journal Entry Erie National Wildlife Refuge - Guys Mills Heritage Festival Planned Region 5, June 30, 2007 Non-profit organizations from Guys Mills, Pa. have banded together to sponsor an open house for the community on June 30th from 9am-5pm. Downtown Guys Mills, the local fire department, United Free Evangelical Church, Faith Builder's, and the Township building will be open for tours, activities and refreshments. The Friends of Erie National Wildlife Refuge will sponsor several special activities around the refuge, providing people with an opportunity to learn more about the refuge's mission and public recreational opportunities. Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts will be on hand to help with the event. Representatives from all of the organizations are meeting monthly to coordinate plans for the Festival.  For more information contact Erie National Wildlife Refuge staff at 814-789-3585. More details of the event will be made available as the date for the Heritage Festival approaches.
