Hydromodification Technical Advisory Committee

Stormwater Stakeholders and Interested Individuals:
A countywide Hydromodification Technical Advisory Committee is being formed to discuss the hydromodification (impacts to streams and rivers) criteria required to be developed by the enrollees in the State’s General Municipal Storm Water program located in San Luis Obispo County. This includes all the Cities in San Luis Obispo County.

Dove Creek Commercial Center Amendment

An amendment to the Dove Creek Planned commercial center has been received. The amendment includes changes to building pads “a” and “b” allowing for Tractor Supply Company to occupy the space. The proposal includes a 20,000+/- sf. Retail building and 20,000 +/- sf outdoor sales area. The Planned Development Overlay zoning text would need to be modified to allow the outdoor component of this use. The project is tentatively scheduled for the February 17th Planning Commission meeting, beginning at 7:00 in the Council Chambers at City Hall. DRAFT 2009 STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN

The City has produced an updated draft 2009 Stormwater Management Plan, and it is available for review. The City is required to produce and gain approval of a Stormwater Management Plan in accordance with Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board and the Environmental Protection Agency National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System requirements. City staff will be presenting the plan to the City Council on January 27, 2009. Interested Citizens can provide public comment at the January 27, 2009 Council meeting.
 
CENTRAL COAST REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD

The Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board has released a public notice and draft staff report regarding the Onsite Wastewater (septic systems) Implementation Policy and associated conditional waiver to be considered by the Central Coast Water Board on March 20, 2009.
