Educators!

Oxon Cove Park offers a variety of programs that are both educational and fun. Your group can participate in either our education programs or our weekly programs.

Our education programs are standards-based and use hands-on activities to encourage critical thinking and inquiry. Pre-site and post-site activities are available to enhance your students on-site learning. These programs have a maximum group size of 25 students and are offered October through May.

You can make a reservation for your group to participate in our weekly programs (Meet the Dairy Cow, Chicken and Egg Program, Wagon Ride) anytime of the year.  Check for specific dates and group size for each or these programs.

Did You Know?
In 1891, Saint Elizabeths Hospital, acquired the Oxon Cove Park Property, to establish a farm where patients, removed from the confines of a hospital setting, could benefit from fresh air and outdoor work at this new "farm colony." This hospital farm was called Godding Croft.
