The requirements outlined in Chapter 3 relating to the technical data package submitted by a manufacturer are more than adequate. It also appears that the standards will appropriately focus more attention on reviewing the usability of user documentation (operations manuals and maintenance manuals). The lack of clear and concise user documentation has led to some of the user error problems in the past.
