Using Research DataAbout Datasets A dataset contains raw data gathered from research and surveys and any reports or analysis of that data. GSA Datasets are available to all researchers.
Even with these efforts, GSA cannot absolutely guarantee the validity of the data. Researchers must evaluate data for themselves and determine its usefulness. Please read the Download Agreement for more information about this responsibility. Using Datasets in Your Research There are numerous possibilities for using the datasets on this site in research efforts. Here are some suggestions:
The goal of this site is to promote good science. Although there are some limitations to how these data may be used, there are also many ways the datasets may be used effectively, with creativity and ingenuity. How to Download Datasets To access the data and related files on this site: Step 1: Go to the Registration page and complete the User Information Form.
Step 2: Go to the Raw Data Library. This page contains tables for each of the available datasets. Each table contains a data file and supporting documentation.
Step 3: Read the Download Agreement.
Step 4: Finally, please remember to Share Your Findings when your research is finished.
